Eagle Bentwood Box by James Michels
The Bentwood Box is a uniquely fabricated container in which a single plank of wood is groved or kerfed where corners are desired. The wood is made pliable with heat and moisture and bent to form a four-sided shape. The two ends are secured by wooded pegs or laces. Then the box shape is attached to a bottom piece of wood which has been grooved on its edges to fit. The top, which is optional, is also grooved to fit the sides.
Measures: 4.5" x 4.5" x 6.25
